Silver Topped Inkwell (Designed by Frederick Haberling)
This is a stunning Frederick Haberling sterling silver mounted inkwell with heavy hob nail cut base. It is engraved with a roman figure and dated in the 1900’s possibly 1905 and Frederick Haberling is a known silversmith and entered into the silversmith identity marks from 1887. The neck of the inkwell is encircled with a silver mount and fitted with a compressed circular hinged hallmarked sterling silver cover. The glass body of this inkwell is embellished with hobnail style deep cut glass ornamentation to the underside and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
